A spiced ground pork and ham hock spread served on buttered toasts.
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb Pork Roast
- 6 ham hocks
- 1 large onion
- Salt/Pepper
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 1/2 cloves
- 1/4 tsp garlic salt or powder
Steps
- In a large pot cook pork roast and ham hocks with onion; season with salt and pepper.
- Grind meat in a meat grinder.
- Put meat back with juice in pot to cook.
- Add cinnamon, allspice, cloves, garlic powder.
- Bring to boil, simmer and cook until thick.
- When finished, spread in cake pan to cool.
- Cool in fridge.
- Cut into squares, wrap and freeze.
- Serve on buttered toasts.

- Good as an appetizer.
- Also good for breakfast and brunch.
