Thin sweet crepes served rolled with peanut butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 4 eggs
- milk (enough to make a thin batter)
- peanut butter
- maple syrup
- powdered sugar
Steps
- Mix flour and sugar in bowl.
- In separate bowl add eggs and enough milk to mix eggs well.
- Pour into flour/sugar bowl.
- Continue adding milk until consistency is into a thin batter.
- Pour a ladle full into a lightly greased non-stick frying pan that is just enough to slightly cover bottom.
- Swirl batter around to cover bottom.
- Cook until the bottom is lightly brown.
- Flip and cook on the other side until same.
Notes
- These are like a sweet crepe.
- Traditionally served by twirling them into a roll with a fork and sprinkle with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
- We eat them by putting a stripe of peanut butter down the middle of pancake, then a drizzle of maple syrup then twirling them into a roll.
