Thin sweet crepes served rolled with peanut butter, maple syrup, and powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • milk (enough to make a thin batter)
  • peanut butter
  • maple syrup
  • powdered sugar

Steps

  1. Mix flour and sugar in bowl.
  2. In separate bowl add eggs and enough milk to mix eggs well.
  3. Pour into flour/sugar bowl.
  4. Continue adding milk until consistency is into a thin batter.
  5. Pour a ladle full into a lightly greased non-stick frying pan that is just enough to slightly cover bottom.
  6. Swirl batter around to cover bottom.
  7. Cook until the bottom is lightly brown.
  8. Flip and cook on the other side until same.

Notes

  • These are like a sweet crepe.
  • Traditionally served by twirling them into a roll with a fork and sprinkle with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
  • We eat them by putting a stripe of peanut butter down the middle of pancake, then a drizzle of maple syrup then twirling them into a roll.
