Dutch oven cobbler — dump canned fruit, cake mix, and butter, then bake over coals.

Ingredients

  • 2 cans fruit in syrup or canned pie filling (peaches, cherry pie filling)
  • 1 box cake mix (white, yellow, spice)
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine

Steps

  1. Dump in greased dutch oven 2 cans of fruit or fruit filling.
  2. Dump dry cake mix over fruit.
  3. Drop in small pieces of butter or margarine on top of cake mix.
  4. Bake 20-30 min with 6-8 coals on bottom and 12-14 coals on top.
