Deep-fried peach batter fritters dusted with powdered sugar.
Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 can sliced peaches, drained
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Deep fat frying oil
- Powdered sugar for topping
Steps
- Mix together all the ingredients except the peaches.
- When you have a smooth batter, add the peaches.
- Preheat oil for deep frying (350-375 degrees).
- Deep fry spoonfuls of mixture till golden brown.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
