Deep-fried peach batter fritters dusted with powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Deep fat frying oil
  • Powdered sugar for topping

Steps

  1. Mix together all the ingredients except the peaches.
  2. When you have a smooth batter, add the peaches.
  3. Preheat oil for deep frying (350-375 degrees).
  4. Deep fry spoonfuls of mixture till golden brown.
  5. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
