A layered pumpkin dessert with a pecan crust, cream cheese layer, and pumpkin pudding.
Ingredients
- 1 lg can pumpkin (3 1/2 cups)
- 3 slightly beaten eggs
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 yellow or white cake mix
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
- Nuts, optional
Steps
- Combine pumpkin through nutmeg and pour into a 9 x 13 greased pan.
- Top with dry cake mix.
- Pour melted butter/margarine over cake mix.
- May top with chopped nuts.
- Bake 350 degrees for 1 hr.
- Chill and top with whipped cream.
