A fresh strawberry pie with a jello glaze in a baked pie shell.

Ingredients

  • 1-10" pie shell, baked

Filling:

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/3 cup Cool Whip
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries

Glaze:

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp strawberry jello
  • 3 tbsp corn starch

Steps

  1. Combine filling ingredients and pour into pie shell.
  2. Top with fresh berries.
  3. Make the glaze by bringing water to boil and adding sugar, jello and cornstarch.
  4. Bring to boil for 1 min and let cool.
  5. Pour cooled glaze over the berries and chill.

Notes

  • Can use sugar-free jello and omit sugar. This makes a lot of glaze so you could halve it.
  • Can substitute any berries with any type of jello, such as raspberries or blackberries.
