Baked ham and pork meatballs glazed in a sweet mustard sauce — a Christmas Eve staple.

Ingredients

Ham Balls:

  • 1 1/4 lb ground cured ham
  • 1 lb lean ground pork (not spiced)
  • 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 1/2 egg, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham crackers
  • 1 cup milk

Sauce:

  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) tomato soup, undiluted
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Steps

  1. Grind ham in food processor or grind.
  2. Combine all ham ball ingredients and form meat mixture into 2" balls.
  3. Place in greased baking dish.
  4. Combine sauce ingredients together.
  5. Pour over uncooked balls.
  6. Bake 350 for 25 min.

  • We make this every year for Christmas Eve with spinach balls and oyster stew: green, red and white.
