A thick, punchy vinaigrette loaded with garlic and Dijon mustard.
Ingredients
- 4 large cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup red wine vinegar (or for variety balsamic)
- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
Steps
- Combine garlic, mustard, and vinegar in a small bowl and whisk well.
- Slowly drizzle in the olive oil, whisking constantly until the dressing is quite thick.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour in vinaigrette jar.
Notes
- Alternative method: Dump it all in a Tupperware container with a lid and shake well.
- Can also be used as base for pasta salad with whatever you want to throw in with the pasta.
