Whipped potatoes with butter, cream cheese, and sour cream — perfect for a crowd.
Ingredients
- 4-5 pounds potatoes (peeled and quartered)
- 1 stick butter
- 1 package cream cheese
- 2 small containers of sour cream (8 oz.)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Steps
- Boil potatoes in salted water until soft (20-30 minutes).
- Drain potatoes well.
- Add butter and cream cheese, recover potatoes in saucepan for 5 minutes allowing butter to melt and cheese to soften.
- Whip potatoes with beater adding sour cream until right consistency.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve in a bowl and dot with butter.
