Crock pot green beans slow-cooked with bacon and onion.

Ingredients

  • 6 cans green beans, drained
  • 1/2 lb bacon, cut up
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Steps

  1. Mix ketchup with brown sugar.
  2. Saute bacon with onion.
  3. Layer green beans, bacon/onions, and ketchup/brown sugar mixture in crock pot.
  4. Cook on low for 5 hours without stirring.
  5. When finished cooking, toss together.

Notes

  • You can cut recipe or make bigger. For 7+ cans, double the recipe.
