Thinly sliced deer steak dredged in seasoned flour and pan-fried.

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs venison roast cut in 3" strips
  • 1/3 cup mustard
  • 1/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 small onions sliced
  • 3 baked potatoes sliced
  • 2 salsa or jalapeno peppers slices

Steps

  1. Mix venison, mustard and pepper together and marinade for 1 hour.
  2. Roll venison in flour, and then fry in oil until brown.
  3. Remove meat from the frying pan and set aside.
  4. Add onions, potatoes and peppers to the frying pan and cook until brown.
  5. Add venison to the potato mixture and serve.
