Thinly sliced deer steak dredged in seasoned flour and pan-fried.
Ingredients
- 2 lbs venison roast cut in 3" strips
- 1/3 cup mustard
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2 small onions sliced
- 3 baked potatoes sliced
- 2 salsa or jalapeno peppers slices
Steps
- Mix venison, mustard and pepper together and marinade for 1 hour.
- Roll venison in flour, and then fry in oil until brown.
- Remove meat from the frying pan and set aside.
- Add onions, potatoes and peppers to the frying pan and cook until brown.
- Add venison to the potato mixture and serve.
